Alternatives
DevHub alternatives for franchise websites
DevHub builds websites for franchise and multi-location brands, scoped and quoted per brand. If you are comparing it, these are the other realistic routes, each described from its own public pages.
Facts checked September 26, 2026
The short answer
Choose by who will run the sites once they launch.
DevHub suits brands that want a custom-scoped build, a team to support it, and their own SEO, ads and review vendors plugged in. The alternatives split into a few camps. Duda gives an agency the tools to build and manage many sites. Yext and Scorpion bundle location pages with a bigger offer: listings for Yext, full-service marketing for Scorpion. An agency or WordPress multisite gives you full control and full upkeep. Brandyland publishes a price per location and puts franchisees in charge of their own sites from a phone.
Start with who runs the sites
Every option here can put a page online for each location. The difference shows up a month after launch, when hours change, a location closes for a storm, or a new location opens. Before comparing features, decide who should make those changes: corporate, an agency or the franchisee.
If the answer is the franchisee, ask each vendor to show you that edit on a phone, and to show you what corporate can lock so the brand stays intact.
Questions to ask every vendor
Get the answers in writing and compare them side by side:
- What is the price per location, and what does the first year cost in total?
- How long is the first term, does it renew on its own, and how much notice ends it?
- Who owns the content, the design and the domain?
- What exactly can we export when we leave, and in what format?
- Who handles listings, reviews and ads, if anyone?
- Do bookings stay on our current system?
Match the price model to your network
DevHub's FAQ describes a one-time implementation cost plus a recurring annual cost, scoped to your network. Duda publishes plan and per-site prices, with any agency's fees on top. Yext and Scorpion quote privately. Brandyland charges a published price per location, with a 12-month first term and month to month after that.
None of these is right for everyone. A scoped quote can suit a large or unusual network. A per-location price is easier to forecast when locations open every quarter.
The options
01
Duda ↗
Best for: Agencies that build and manage many sites for clients
Duda is a website builder sold to agencies, SaaS platforms and hosts that build sites for other businesses; it says it has 23,000+ such customers. It offers a Multi Location widget with find-nearest, pages generated from data, reusable sections, and client permissions that limit what each client can edit. Prices are published: as of September 26, 2026, the Agency plan is $52 a month billed annually with four sites, plus $17 a month per extra site. Site Export produces a static copy in which forms stop working. Duda sells to the businesses that build sites, so any agency's own fees sit on top of Duda's plan.
02
Yext ↗
Best for: Large enterprises that need listings on 200-plus publishers as well as location pages
Yext builds template-driven location pages from its Knowledge Graph, the same data it syncs to more than 200 publishers such as Google, Apple and Yelp. Its pricing FAQ says it is built for large multi-location enterprises, pricing is custom, billing is annual and multi-year proposals are the default. Brands named in its own case studies include Great Clips and Fazoli's.
03
Brandyland
Best for: Franchise networks that want a published price per location and franchisees editing from a phone
Brandyland gives every location a website on one engine, in the brand's theme, plus a brand site with a find-a-location page and franchise inquiry form. Franchisees edit hours, holidays, the weekly schedule, events, notices, photos and their own pages from a phone, and inquiry forms reply on brand within sixty seconds. Local is $99 per location per month and Insights is $199, and build and migration are free for franchise networks. It is newer and smaller than DevHub, and it does not run SEO or ads.
04
Scorpion ↗
Best for: Brands that want one company running ads, SEO, reviews and the website
Scorpion is a digital marketing and technology company. Its franchise bundle includes websites on its own CMS with automated location landing pages, along with ads, SEO, reviews, an AI assistant for each location and a dedicated marketing team. It does not publish prices, and its FAQ says it typically requires a 12-month contract for its technology and SEO.
05
An agency or developer
Best for: A fully custom design, or software beyond websites
An agency or developer can build exactly what you brief, including tools only your business needs. The trade-off is upkeep: each change and each new location becomes a request, and the cost grows with them. It works best for a small network whose sites rarely change, or alongside a platform that handles the day-to-day.
06
WordPress multisite
Best for: Teams with WordPress developers in house
One WordPress install can run a site for every location, with shared themes and full control of the code, and the software is free. The franchise pieces, such as locked brand sections, a phone-friendly editor and inquiry follow-ups, are yours to build with plugins or custom code, and updates and security are ongoing work.
