What is a franchise brand fund?
A shared marketing fund that franchisees contribute to, usually as a percentage of sales, and that the franchisor spends on marketing for the whole brand. The franchise agreement sets the contribution and how the fund may be used.
How should a brand fund be split?
There is no single right split. Most funds pay for advertising, creative, technology such as websites, and the cost of running the fund. What matters is that franchisees can see the split and what it buys.
Can websites be paid from the brand fund?
