Comparison
Brandyland vs SOCi for franchise local marketing
SOCi runs AI agents that post to social media, answer reviews and correct listings for each location. Brandyland runs the website for each location. They solve different problems, and a brand could use both.
Facts checked September 26, 2026
The short answer
SOCi works your social, reviews and listings. Brandyland runs your location websites.
SOCi's Genius agents write local posts, reply to reviews in the brand's voice and correct listings on Google, Apple Maps, Bing, Yelp and Facebook, and it builds Local Pages with a store locator. Brandyland does not post to social, answer reviews or manage directories. It gives every location a website that franchisees edit from a phone, answers inquiries within a minute, and publishes its price. If social and reviews are where locations fall behind, SOCi is built for that. If the website is, Brandyland is.
| SOCi | Brandyland | |
|---|---|---|
| Main job | AI agents for local search, social and reviews | A website for every location, and the brand site |

| Location pages | Local Pages and a locator, built and maintained by SOCi | A site per location, edited by the franchisee from a phone |
| Franchisee role | Corporate-led, franchisee-led or hybrid; agents work whether or not franchisees log in | Franchisees edit inside corporate's locked theme and sections |
| Pricing | Not published; the pricing page leads to a demo request | $99 or $199 per location per month, published |
| Contract | Evergreen; an order form cannot be ended for convenience, per its FAQ | 12-month first term, then month to month |
| Data at exit | Deleted within 90 days of termination unless download access was requested, per its terms | One-click export of content and images, any time |
What SOCi is
SOCi calls itself an agentic marketing platform for multi-location brands, with brand-trained AI agents for local search, social and reviews, and its franchise page pitches one agent for each location. The industries it names include restaurants, franchise, retail, healthcare, financial services and property management.
It is established in this space. SOCi acquired Brandify in 2021, announced $100M in annual recurring revenue in 2024, and says more than 412,000 Genius Agents were deployed as of September 22, 2026. Brands named in SOCi's own case studies include Sport Clips, Smoothie King, Kumon and The Goddard School.
Where SOCi is strong
One platform covers much of the work that happens off the website:
Its contract FAQ also lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications.
- Local posts written and published by an agent, plus paid social through Ads & Boost
- Review replies in the brand's voice, with sensitive reviews flagged for corporate
- Profiles monitored and corrected on Google, Apple Maps, Bing, Yelp and Facebook
- Corporate-led, franchisee-led or hybrid setups, with role-based access and approvals
- Agents that keep working whether or not a franchisee logs in
Local Pages, and a website for each location
SOCi's Local Pages are SEO-built pages for each location, with a store locator, promotions, directions, booking and ordering buttons, and menus through Olo. Its contract FAQ says SOCi builds and maintains them and codes them to WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 AA.
Brandyland gives each location a website in the brand's theme that the franchisee edits from a phone: today's hours, holidays after a nudge, the weekly schedule, events, photos, their own pages and a notice bar that takes itself down after its end date. Inquiry forms reply on brand within sixty seconds, and corporate sees stale hours and waiting leads on a network health dashboard, worst first. It does not post to social, reply to reviews or run AI agents.
Pricing and contract terms
SOCi does not publish prices. Its Terms of Service, last updated July 12, 2024, say each order form sets the term and renewal. Its contract FAQ calls the agreement evergreen, says an order form cannot be ended for convenience, and says longer commitments get better pricing.
Brandyland is $99 per location per month for Local, which includes Google Business Profile sync and review requests, or $199 for Insights. Build and migration are free for franchise networks, the $299 launch fee per location is waived for pilots, and after a 12-month first term it is month to month.
Your data when it ends
SOCi's terms say you own the content you create or upload, including AI inputs and outputs. They also say customer data is deleted within 90 days of termination and may not be recoverable, unless you asked for download access before the end. Posts on social and review networks stay there. With Brandyland, every site's content and images export with one click, any time, with no exit fee.

Questions
Questions people ask
Is Brandyland a SOCi alternative?
Only for the location website. SOCi's core is AI agents for social, reviews and listings, and Brandyland does none of that. It gives each location a website that franchisees edit from a phone.
Does SOCi publish its pricing?
No. Its pricing page leads to a demo request, and its 2024 Genius Suite packaging was announced without prices.
Can we end a SOCi contract early?
Its contract FAQ calls the agreement evergreen and says an order form cannot be ended for convenience. Either side can end it for a material breach not fixed within 30 days of notice.
What happens to our data when a SOCi contract ends?
Its terms say customer data is deleted within 90 days of termination unless you asked for download access first. Content already posted to social and review networks stays there.
Can we use SOCi and Brandyland together?
Yes, as separate tools. SOCi can run social, reviews and listings while Brandyland runs the location websites and the brand site.
