What do slow first replies cost your network?

Every location's inquiry form is a small sales desk, and most of them close at night. Put in your locations, their inquiries and how fast they answer, and see what is at stake across the network.

2. How fast replies go out today
3. How often a reply turns into a booking

Your own numbers, or an honest guess. There is no research behind the examples.

What goes into it

Why reply speed is a network problem

Every location answers differently

Some reply in minutes, some on Monday. Corporate rarely sees which, because the inquiries land in each location's own inbox.

After hours is when people ask

Evening and weekend inquiries wait longest, and they are the ones most likely to be sent to a competitor too.

A first reply is fixable centrally

An on-brand first reply can go out from every location within a minute, in the brand's words, while each location's team handles the follow-up.

How the calculator works

For each location, bookings today are its monthly inquiries times the share answered within the hour times the booking rate for fast replies, plus the rest times the booking rate for later replies. The network total multiplies by the number of locations. The comparison assumes every inquiry got a first reply within the hour; the difference, times the value of a booked inquiry, is what slow replies cost. The booking rates are yours to set.

Questions

Questions about lead response across a network

How do we find our locations' reply times?

Pull a month of inquiries from each location's inbox and note when the first reply went out. The median across locations, and the slowest few, tell you where the money is.

Where do the booking rates come from?

From your own records, or an honest estimate. The calculator does not assume research numbers; try a range to see how sensitive the answer is.

Does corporate answer inquiries in this model?

No. The first reply goes out automatically in the brand's voice from each location, and the location's team follows up. Corporate sees reply times across the network.

Can I share the numbers with my team?

Yes. The numbers ride in the page's address, so copying the link shares exactly what you see.

Leave your email. A person replies within a day, and the first conversation is about your locations, not a demo script.
